I saw the ECU pinout into on the hybrid board, but it doesn't seem to match up. Someone help! The diagram on the hybrid board shows that D3 is where the knock sensor hooks up on the ECU. It shows the #'s going 1, 2 up and down then across...on this Civic it shows 1,2,3 all going across.

I hope someone knows what I'm talking about. HELP! Please...so we can finish this swap.

Thanks for your help. Only one problem...with this JDM B16 ECU, it seems it doesn't count in the same order. Does that make sense? It counts backwards horizontally, not up and down then over. I hope you guys know what I mean.

 

The Helms manual labels the pins completely different than all the hybrid diagrams. Pick one and use it.

I'm not sure what you're looking at to get your numbering. I'm currently running a USDM B18C1 off a JDM P72 ECU. I wired it up according to the posted diagram and everything works great. Like I said, I think you've just found a diagram that number things differently...

 

On your JDM ECU...does it list the numbers the same as if it were a USDM ECU? That's my problem. D3 isn't where it is supposed to be on the JDM ECU.

 

Hey Todd, I had the same issue with my JDM ECU. These diagrams that are posted are in a different order then what they actually are. Grab your helms manual, and find a specific wire color and find it on the ECU. Remember that pin # and location. Then find another wire color and location and then you'll be able to find out how to count the pin #'s (i.e. up down and left to right or down up and right to left) Yes they are in different order, you just need to find out what exact order they are, are wire the wires you need accordingly.

I would think there would be someone on this board who has a JDM B16A in their '94-'95 Civic EX...
