come one you gotta be kidding me...i mean i run 16.8's with my non vtec sohc motor with intake header and no muffler and it feels slow as ****...my friends car with a built b16 with 9.0:1 pistons kicks my ***
so explain how in an lsvtec with with moderatly low compression...i mean ppl slap on a vtec head on a stock ls block and are pretty quick....how can i run 16's or even 17's...i find that pretty impossible

High 13's on that setup....hrmmm.... If that was the case, i'd have a long talk w/ my car on why im running an ek w/ jdm b18c w/ bolt on mods and touching high 13's, although the b16 could give me the same. I think you would be around the 15 second 1/4 time.

All Motor visitors and regulars,
Welcome to the All Motor forum!
1) Classifieds/WTB's
These threads are not allowed at all in the All Motor forum. The purpose of this forum is for technical discussion of all things involving naturally aspirated Honda engines. I know you have things you need to sell. I sell many parts on Honda-Tech myself, but a technical forum is not the place to do so. There will be no exceptions.
2) Search Feature
The search feature is a great tool to get started. If you are sitting at your keyboard with your hat on sidewayZ with a Red Bull in hand and are contemplating posting a new thread about Intakes. Think about it for a minute. Chances are there have been threads in the past discussing Intakes. Read as much as you can first, THEN post a question if you still want to ask or discuss something.
3) Pictures/Videos/Check Out My Setup!
Everyone loves pictures and specs and a video is even better, but a thread whose only purpose is "hey look at my crap!" is not appropriate. Again, this forum is for technical discussion, it is not some sort of E-Bling Off.
4) E-Racing/Bench Racing/Guess my 1/4 or HP
There is no place for it here, it is not productive, frequently leads to arguments, and is generally pointless. Go find a dyno or a drag strip.
5) Respect
Respect other users. Unnecessary flames and purposely giving poor advice to a "noob" is not funny.
6) Sponsorship/Group Buys/Shops/Advertising
This forum, and Honda-Tech in general, is for the members to actively participate in dicussions in all things performance.
What Honda-Tech is NOT is a free-for-all advertising opportunity.
Honda-Tech is extremely expensive to maintain and operate. Honda-Tech relies on advertising to cover costs. A big portion of that revenue comes from Honda-Tech Sponsors which can be seen here:

if you go a ls/vtec you should beat a type r and im not sure what they run either...and i ran a 15.7 with my ls and i have a aem cai,rs-r headers, and a hks high power exhaust....i think a type r runs around hight 14 are something i guess so just guess around that time depends on your driving too...if you know how to shift right
go to the track. There is alot that determines whether you will run good times or not.
bench racing is about as good as a broken jimmy hat.

WHO CARES, its going to be slow. Dodge neons are going to break you off. Dont drive it hard, save the motor for when it has the turbo set up on it, then go to the track and report back the time you actually hit.
