Default B20VTEC

I just visited an importer, trying to pick up a B20 for future build. Looking around I stubled on B20VTEC, which just came in on container from Japan off a race EF car. Price wasn't that much over what the stocker was so I picked it up.

Anyways compressions seems fine 220psi all across. Any it came w/ FGK header, cam gears, EXEDY flywheel/clutch combination, Spoon ITR spec Throttle body and few other goodies.

But what worries me is the oil line placement for the VTEC head (P30). I thinking of removing the second line that feeds the head and replacing it w/ the 2 sensors (1 on the block, the other on the head) .
Or am I missing something? Any insight would be helpful!

That valve cover is a signture M&M honda colored valve cover. M&M honda is very reputiable when it comes to building motors, something like that new would run you probably $7000-, if it is in fact M&M.

As for the conversion line, I wouldnt worry too much about it. if it were gonna get trashed, it would have done so by now.

i guess you're right. Just needed some reasurance, never built a b20vtec or lsvtec, I didn't want to chance starving oil in head area.

i don't feel like opening it further. But its got 2 layer gasket. Cams are defiantly more aggressive then stock GSR which i comapared it to, but seem to have stock B stamp on it. no pait on the springs.

or Feels or even SPi, anyways flipping thru hyper rev I stumbled upon this feels pic, cam gears do look alike, the stampin on the cam = B and ramps on them look similiar (i mean not real technical, but definatly more aggressive then GSR)
