Default JDM ITR Final Drive Question

I'm looking for a tranny set up for my GSR that will let me rev faster. I'm kinda sick of the long gearing of my GSR. I fall out of my powerband everytime i shift from 1-2 and it really lags.

Would changing my final drive help me stay in my power band? Or will i still fall out just except every single gear is shorter? I'm trying to figure out what i want to do. I want to get an ITR tranny but I don't really have the money to shell out. I have heard mixed reviews about the si tranny. Plus i don't trust buying used products. You don't know how the condition is until you put the tranny in.

FD will make your car accelerate faster but will not change the gear ratios between gears so your shift points wont change. You will just be shifting sooner!
