Ok so this story is quite complicated. I did a wiretuck with my car over these past couple of weeks. The engine harness is one off of my friends car that he took off while it was running so we know everything in that harness is wired correctly. This things I did with the car are as follows:
1. relocated fuse box to under dash position
2. mounted odyssey pc680( i think thats the part number) in front fender(passenger side)
3. mounted a positive terminal in the firewall that hold the main battery wire(2 gauge), fusebox b+ (8 gauge), and starter b+(4 gauge)
4. The car was an auto/manual swap before I bought it and the 3 black wires in the center console that had to be connected together are.
5. water pump, timing belt, tensioner (all OEM HONDA)
6. CTR crank pullley
At first the heater motor relay would click when i went to start the car and I didn't know why. Thats when i figured out that those 3 black wires for the manual **** had to be put together. I did that and then the car would try and start. The only problem I am having is that it is starting extremely slow, when I went to turn the crank pulley with my 19mm I felt resistence where there shouldn't have been and now i'm scared as expletive. Anybody have any possible suggestions. I just hope it's not like a bent vlave.

well theres gunna b compression in the motor do its going to be hard to turn the 19 no matter what so im pretty sure its ok. but to touch on the slow start, do u mean it turns over slow like the battery is dead or that theres no compression. why dont u get a compression tester and turn it over and see what it comes in as.

^^I know there is compression since I can hear it and the motor came out running fine and I did not do anything internally. I understand the compression stroke is goign to be hard to turn but where the resistance is is nowhere near the compression stroke. It's almost like when you are turning a nut onto a bolt and there is a dirty thread, once it gets passed it it's fine. Oh ya and the compression stroke comes after the resistance is felt.
I think the motor is turning over slow due to the length of my starter wire and because it goes form a 2gauge into a 4 gauge wire and is a lot longer than the stock starter wire...Thats just my guess

as bad as his spelling and typing is, he said exactly what i was thinking. bust out the multimeter, and start checking your connections. look for voltage drop, maybe excessive resistance, etc etc. good luck!

i too think its the length and guage size of the wire
ALSO check all your GROUND WIRES jon ..
i was stump once with an accord/h22 swap .. forgot 1 ground and it drove me crazy for a hole week .. (go figure huh ?)

very good point.
you shoudl run 0 gauge power and ground for your wires. i did the same thing and im having hte same problem.
the ground on your tranny that used to be your ground cable for you battery, replace it. thats your best bet. i replaced mine with 4 gauge stranted, shielded wire. same location, just a tad larger.

my battery is dead....you must be kidding. Brand new Odyssey PC680 and it's deal.....car should start once I jump it
Talked to a local mechanic and he said it could be something in the tranny getting cause due to lack of lubrican't which makes perfect sence since the fluid i put in hasn't been circulated around ANYTHING yet...so i spun the crank with the plugs out for a while and what do you know....no more getting caught up..
Once this battery gets jumped/charged i shoulud be good to go
OH ya and i change the length of that wire so it shoulud be all set. All my wire is 2 gauge btw...
