Pull the 7.5A backup fuse in the underhood fuse box for about 30 seconds. Make sure that you know your radio code if it is the stock unit.

thats what i read when i searched...but i also heard about u have to run your engine 10min before and after u reset it so ur idle can adjust and stuff....i was wondering of that mainly..is that pretty much proper procedure?

It will learn as you go for idle, etc.

you should let it idle for 10 minutes after, no need to do it before. i've noticed that if i reset my ecu and don't let it sit for a little bit the idle will be really low at first.
