HELP!! with motor swap, we are putting a zc motor in a 92 EG right now it has a d15 in it. and i wanted to kno if the d-series wire-harness would go directly to the zc motor. if anyone has done this swap b-4 give me some input cause I'ma-gonna-need it

 

which ZC do you have? If its the obd0 one then you are going to want to convert all the D15 sensors onto the motor.

the zc sohc non vtec is the same as the stock motor tat was in your car so u prolly dont have it and if you do forget it


the zc vtec is the same as a z6 swap all you have to do is wire in vtec


dohc zc waste of time its a d16a1 from a 1st gen integra basically

 

it is dohc and I kno bout the d16 but i dont have a d16 and u cant put a b16 vtec ecu to a d16 without tearing it up so thats y we pick the zc motor. i have a b18b but im waiting on a vtec head but thats going n the DA. just kno the zc will runthe same motor beat a gsr teggy hands down and the zc had no mods at all except for the b16(vtec) ecu but the zc blew up b/c of 9 grand rev limit. stock honda valve springs (non vtec)of course can only hold 7grand at the most.

are you saying that your 1st gen teggy moyor beat s a third gen gsr?

 

yea but the motor was in a crx with a b16 ecu an no other mods
