dissapoiting and scary

finally got my ls/vtec back and tunned...
all work done by Joe simpson and temest racing....
dynoed 203.8 whp..took about 4 hours of tunning and ended by 1am.... and still has some left to tune
so i took it to track on friday...
had not really ran it hard on the street so this is the first time i really laid into it and it scared me!.... by the time i got into 3rd gear the cockpit filled with smoke and i let off.... i dont have a crank case breather and my dipstick blew out and shot oil all over my header... i thought i fried the motor and let off in a slit second...

.... next time ill run slicks anyone have any for sale? and i did buy an endyn crank case breather right after i got home from the track....

i know... i didnt know where to launch it.... i had launched my old b16 at 4500.... so thats what i tried.....i get ls/vtec has a lil more tq then my old b16..... i murdered the tires 1st and 2nd gear....

my dipstick blew out on the dyno and it scared the living hell out of me. i thought it was the headgasket until somebody pointed it out. i just got another dipstick with a better rubber seal around it. it shouldn't be loose at all...u should have to tug on it a little to get it to come loose.
my car is neptuned and my 2step is set to 6k. haven't been to the track yet, but i'm going on the 28th.
go to the drag racing forum and search for preloading the car on the starting line. it's been covered more than once. you need to get that 60ft down..

i know i knwo..... the 60 ft was horrible trust me the most horrible ive ever had... i just never had a 200 whp all motor car before... didnt know what she would do ..... i tried something and didnt work... lol so did i waste my money on the endyn ?...and where to get a new dipstick... any automotive parts store? never had to get a new one
not to beat a dead horse but that is officially the worst 60 ft o have ever seen congrats. 1 tire fire FTW
good hp. it must be satisfying to know there are guys with set ups almost identical to yours doing 185 horse.

Lol, but definitely gotta get the 60ft down, and it should be possible on street tires, try launching lower or lower the psi on your tires (or launch higher with less psi) just gotta get in seat time and practice the launching...

im going to import v. domestic.... i dont think i can get slicks in time... will BFG radials be good enough on my setup? 225 50 15?
