Used Koni/GC Combo Question
A local guy is selling a set of Koni Yellow/GC coilovers for $300 bucks. They're used w/ about 25K on them. I'm really considering buying them. What should I look for when I check them out? I won't techincally know if they're in working order til I get them on my car, right?
Ive had my Koni Yellow/GC combo for about 50k miles and the shocks are still strong. Im slammed too. Push the shocks in by hand, this should not be easy to do but you should still be able too. Watch to see how the shock rebounds back. If the shock is too easy to push in or it doesnt rebound back smoothly the shock could be bad. Check for oil comming out of the adjusting *** at the top of the shock. The springs should be good since they could last forever, but just check to see that they are not bent or corroded.

I've had mine for about the same amount of time and have NO oil coming out the top, you better call koni.
