It wouldn't do you any good anyway without porting the intake manifold to match.
It'll actually slow it down as the air going from a larger port to a smaller one will create turbulance instead of straight flow (which is what you want).
Unless you port match the IM any larger throttle body won't do anything. (Or you can change the intake manifold to match the port size).

well im pretty sure a b-series intake manifold wont fit a d-series head right? im having a prob with my FITV on my stock TB, and im pretty sure the b-series TB's dont have a FITV on them. so i figure i could just do a b-series TB for cheap and a new intake manifold later (like when i have money). hopefully taking care of the problem all together.

If you have a FITV that means your car is a '92-'95. You need the FITV. '96+ don't need it therefore don't have it. You can't just slap on a TB that has no FITV and say there, problem solved. You still need it or you're going to idle like ****.
Talk about major problem coverup. Try to fix the problem.
How to clean your FITV - Try that, see if it helps.
