Default Misfire on Cyl 1 & 3 Only when cold H22A4, Stumped.

I replaced my plugs, wires, cap & rotor, O2 Sensor. I haven't clean my egr valve yet, but my car has a miss on cyl. 1 and 3 also. I have a h22a4. I will clear the CEL when its warm, and then it won't come on again until I start it when its cold, like sitting all night. I'm stumped. The only thing I can come too is maybe the valve clearances are suppost to be adjusted. Because when the engine is warm, it doesn't misfire. Anyone else had this problem? I just want this embarrasing problem to be gone, and I'm not fond of taking it to the dealership and paying big bucks for a problem I can fix. Anyone think the valves? It has 104,000, and didn't start until like 102,000. Replacing the plugs and wires helped but didn't fix it. Let me know what you all think. It was idling really low, but the guy at the dealership suggested to increase the Idol speed to 900RPM, and see if that helped, but I got nothing.

DID THE DISTRIBUTOR HAVE ANY BROWN RUSTY STUFF IN THE CAP, sorry caps, this means the distributor bearing is going bad and if it is leaning to one side then the two cylinders next to each other are going to be bad, 1,3,4,2, is the firing order, this is all that I can think of for now. It may not be noisy and there may be no telltale signs yet other than the rusty looking stuff, metal bearing shavings?????

well, I ended up taking it to the dealership. They can't seem to figure out what is wrong with the damn thing. They told me their best guess would be the converter. I still haven't had the valves adjusted or the iac valve cleaned though.
