Default Finally Tuned right ~~ Results....

to make a long story short ive got a 00 jdm itr swap in my del slo'. i had it re-tuned recently by a local shop after adding some cams/shafts but the ending results was low power, low torque, shitty idle and alot of lies and bs the tuner "owner" of the shop said.....basically after adding camshafts/cam gears it only made 2 more whp and lost 4wtq from the last time it was tuned originally

the last tuner claimed that

"the distributer was seized so i couldnt make cam gear adjustments"....got home and checked and it came off in about 12 seconds....******* liar
"the car runs lean because of the aem fpr, its a faulty unit"....unit was brand new
"the injectors are maxed, need to upgrade"........what an idiot

last tuner pulled 176whp, 124 tq', spit alot of bull ****, wasted alot of my time, and money

i had a REAL tuner "SuprDave" from whipfactory tune it today and with the same exact set-up without changing a single thing besides putting the aem fpr back on sense the last guy was an idiot and claimed it was a faulty unit and so fourth and he pulled 190whp/130tq @8800rpm's. It runs strong and very smooth, my idle issue is also fixed after being retuned ..........with a better header it would put the motor around 200-205whp'

my set-up

00 jdm itr swap
j's carbon intake
greddy 2.5" catback exhaust w/hollowed out cat
jdm itr header
Skunk 2 Stage 1 Cam-Shaft’s
Skunk 2 6 Bolt Cam Gear’s
msd box/cap/rotor/coil etc'
hondata s200/p28
walbro 255

i believe thats everything, i am very happy with the results, the car feels much better throughout the entire power-band

SuprDave @ whip-factory, i had a great time and really like the results

Nice job, those are good results. I will say it before someone else does, try out a different intake. I bet you can squeeze some more top end out of it.

yea i think a different intake would sqeeze a few more hp out of it but honestly its not worth the $ to switch for 1-2 hp and i know a header would put me around 200-205 but id rather spend $450 on a block to start a project with', i just wanted to make some nice power for a na daily driver and get it running @ its potential, its a blast to drive with the 4.7 final drive tranny

im looking to do a bottom end build over winter for boost, this will hold me over until then

my pics kinda suck, but its dark out and raining and my camera sucks

said there was plenty of room left on these injectors to reach 200-205whp without any issues if i did upgrade headers down the road, if i remember correctly the jdm itr motors have bigger injectors then the usdm itr swap's.....could be wrong but i remember there being a big thread about it somewhere'.......

i wont be changing anything on the set-up, going to enjoy it the way it is and start my winter project's

thanks
