Piston question for my build.
The deal is:
I recently blew a built motor and had the block left over. In the mean time I bought a new stock motor. I bought a new head and had it fuly built for the block I had left over. I now decided against using the other block because I recently realized it is ruined. I have Eagle h-beam rods left over. The question I had was if it is a better idea to run my eagle rods with a set on forged pistons opposed to some CTR's on the stock gsr rods? Should I just get a set of ctr's and thrown them in on the stock rods or go ahead and put some JE's on my eagle rods? I guess in the end I will only pay 300 more dollars for the pistons.
-Thanks
Set-up as follows:
Pro 2cams
fully built head
edelbrock header with race pipe
ect...

The new CP ultra light pistons are my new favorite. I have been running std CP pistons for one year on Eagle H-beam rods, no problems. I am also running Pro-2's.
