What does this connect to?
I never noticed it till my car started idling funny every now and than, bounces from 200-1000. Me and a friend popped the hood, found this- when we covered it with our finger the weird idling stopped. I dont know where it goes to- or if it was ever connected but the problem just started. After i took the pics i got a small peice of tube with a screw at the end of it to stop the problem for now- but id like to fix it correctly. Thank you

The other one next to it is connected- im talking about the one next to it. Thanx for any help.

Probably the nipple for the butterfly in the stock intake. You have an aftermarket intake so you don't have it hooked up anymore, just get a vacuum cap and cover that nipple.
Well, considering there's an open nipple and a loose vacuum line right next to it, CONNECT THEM!
[edit]The vacuum diagram that 92_VTEC posted is correct. It goes to the Evap solenoid, which if you follow the top hardline, should be connected to that.

Woo! I was right
It doesn't matter what you have connected to these nipples, vacuum is vacuum with the exception of the brake booster and PCV which have bigger lines. So, yeah just cap off what you're not using...

That's retarded to put a breather on a vacuum line...it's still going to cause a bad idle because the line would still be open.
