I am gonna go look at this 89 civic si for sale, its red. The thing is *MINT*, no rust what so ever, orginal paint still good, 150000 miles. The clutch and flywheel have just been replaced. Its got DC sports catback,DC short shifter,Skunk 2 coilovers,Auto meter Silver tach....and a/f and oil guage,Skunk 2 Adjustible cam gears,AEM fuel rail, AEM underdrive pulley, AEM intake. MSG Ignition. The guy wants 3000 for it. He sandblasted inside all the quarter panels too. would you pay that much for it?
Mint =/= sandblasted Panels.
I'd give not a cent over blue book JUST because I would have to go to the trouble to get new interior panels. And to remove the ricer tach and stupid pullies.

I just sold my 89dx for that much, although it had a b17 swap, koni/gc's, full-race traction, every bushing, ball joint, wheel bearing replaced. paint was just faded. ran 13.9@98 2.02 60ft. Sorry, I miss my EF already.
i would say for that money in PA its a decent deal. i bought my 88 si 4 years ago for $2800 with rust but as long as it has NO rust then i would probably get it. make sure you nit pick the **** out of it though.

I honestly don't see the point in buying a modded car especially for 3000 dollars because you don't know if whoever modded it fucked it up or not. I say just get a bone stock one and do all of the aftermarket and fabrication yourself. Oh and i'm sure that car has rust on it. It's almost 18 years old, I couldn't find one in New Mexico, which has like zero percent humidity, with no rust.
