Default connecting rod

is it a good idea to use a connecting rod thats slightly bend? whats the worst that could happen if i do so?

My bent rod caused a loud clack, clack, clack sound cause the piston skirt was hitting the crank counterweight. At least I think thats what was clacking. Damn CAI in FL floodzone.
