Default Radiator Fan (Normal?)

my radiator fan turns on when car is off. I dont have the key in the ignition and the fan kicks on but once i put the key to the on possition the fan turns off. The fan seams to work fine when i am driving it any ideas on what can be wrong

my fan will turn on by itself with out keys once the engines turned off. as far as i can tell it doesnt hurt anything...so u might be safe haha

The fan can stay on up to 15 minutes after the car is off, It could be a problem with the relay, or tstat, but As long as its not staying on long enough to drain power while off

the car only turns the fan on when it needs it

if engine temp is ,,i believe over 223* . when you turn the car off , the radiat fan will come on ,, but it should only stay on for about 10-20 minutes .. if it runs a lot longer than that, than it needs t be looked at ,or it will discharge the battery

could be the switch, the fan timer,r but NOT the T-stat as suggested on previous post

na its koo. it only stays on for like 5 minutes then it turns off
