Buying ITR gears for transmission, how do i tell if its ITR gears or not.

How can you tell if a ITR tranny gear is a ITR tranny gear?

is there more/less teeth?

how do you know for sure, because i was about to buy some and i dont wanna get ripped off.

you can maybe count the teeth and get an idea of what the ratio is...otherwise I dont believe there are any real definitive markings on them.

I recently picked up a new 4th gear from a 00 Civic SI, and noticed that compared to the ITR 4th gear, it has 2 notches in each tooth where the ITR gear only has 1 notch. Thats the only physical difference I noticed, otherwise the gear is the same dimensions and ratio.
