Default I need help bad!

OK, so my water pump seized (I have an 88 2.0 si 4ws). Bent valves, etc. Got the head a valve job, resurfaced, all the goodies. HOWEVER, it is STILL popping out the exhaust. These are new valves! What's the deal here? It wants to run so bad, but it just won't. It starts, but it runs soooo rough. Like it wants to jump out of the engine bay. Anyone have ideas? ANYTHING can help at this point. In theory, this thing oughta run perfect!

GOT IT! Back last summer, we did the clutch. Apparently the guy who did it put the flywheel on a bolt off, so the timing is 30 freakin degrees off. I don;t wanna type details, but it's done. The car runs like a friggin champ. Now I have to sell it... But oh well, I need something newer for college! Thanks for the help!
