befor I getting a new car,

I found 2000 VW jetta 1.8 turbo.

owner told me, his frined blew off his engine so, he put same used engine(5K miles) on his car. and he try to use old turbo, but did not work with new engine. so he put new turbo on his car.

for $7700.

should i get this?

i dont know, about putting a new engines.

i know about vw's, and i think u can find a 2000 jetta for cheaper than 7700, but so does the engine n turbo work or no?

vw's are nice just kinda heavy though, sounds like a decent deal though, might be worth it.
