How can I quote what someone else has already said?

click on reply to the guy who you wanna quote and press the Quote button, second from the right.

 

It doesn't always show everybody the way deadend mentioned if they're 30 (I think it's 30) or more responses back. So to manually quote the syntax pops up when you hit "quote" but if you have to type it (such as a "quick reply") the syntax is [:quote=username]blahblahblah[/quote:]

Without the :'s
