Everytime i start the car my ecu resets? Effects vtec**
My ecu seems to reset everytime i turn my car off. how do i keep it from doing that? i know this because ive been noticing my car not hitting vtec when i first turn on the car. later in like 5 minutes after i do my thing while driving, it starts hitting. does anyone know the cause of this?!?!?!
Um, sweetheart? VTEC won't activate unless your car is at the appropriate temperature, oil pressure and load range. You aren't supposed to be able to abuse the **** out of your car ten seconds after you turn it on. You have to wait for it to settle down off high-idle and open loop.
Why would you assume your ECU resetting would have anything to do with it? Oh wait: you're a total nooby who knows absolutely nothing about your own car. That's right.
Don't assume. If you have a question, ask.

yeah man how long have you had your car??? every honda owner that has a vtec motor knows that the motor has to warm up before Vtec will engage. dude you should have looked around before you said that your ECU was resetting because that made no sense.
if your doing this to get your posts up well heres some more
