Default EGR Plugs?

I bought the little caps to replace my EGR plugs. The thing is that the things I got from Honda are little hollowed out caps that don't look like the plugs that are in there now, but they are the right size. Will these work? Also, what's the easiest way to get the old plugs out?

yeah, I was concerned about that as well when I first did mine. I learned that Honda knows what they are doing, the newer "dished" plugs are easier to get out. You need a 2 or 3 pound slide hammer and a drill to get them out. 2 pound would prolly be better, but I got my 3lbs. one from harbor freight for 10 bux I think. You drill the plug and then thread the slide hammer into it and it pops them out.

He is my thread on Toronto Prelude where I posted my results...
