Distributor shaft orientation required
Hi,
I have a Honda Civic VTi Saloon 92
I have taken the distributor apart to check for bearing problems (long story!) and although I took a photo of the end of the shaft that fits inside the engine, it is offset so I shouldn't have worried. The rotor arm end is also keyed so no problem there...
Unfortunately if you remove the circlip from the engine end and withdraw the pin and remove the end (to dismantle it) you could put it back 180 degrees out... which I might have done!
Are there any diagrams of the shaft or can anyone tell me how I know it is on right?
Thanks,
Dave
