Default Installing Car Audio Prelude Question.

Sup guys,

Im new here and I am installing a bunch of things on my car. Basically I am trying to find a Variable positive power source. (Ignition On source) in my 93 prelude SI. Installing an Old *** amplifier. with (GRN) (batt +) REM + ACC.

Is there any other easy places to hook up (ignition ON + ) without going into the Ignition Harness?

I could use a volt meter no $. hope you guys can post a picture of a + ignition contact. Fuse box?

thanks.

why do you need an acc source for your amp? why don't you use the remote wire off your stereo.... plus there is an acc wire that goes straight to your stereo harness. It should be the yellow w/ red stripe

As I stated before, this is a very old amp that needs the ACC, i've had newer amps that ran off the REM. That is why. Yellow/ red you said? I can't see anything except for the RCA wire and REM blue wire. I don't want to take out the headunit. The dude at Circuit City Hooked up my Headunit to the Fuse Box he said, and I can't find where he hooked it up

Ah! worst comes to worst, i'll splice the Igi switch wire. (honda ignition switch sucks) this is my 4th Switch that's broken.

it's really easier to just take out the headunit... probably won't take more than 20mins to get it out and find the wire
