Just posting for a friend. He's not really sure if he wants to sell it or not. Just kind of a feeler thread to see what kind of offers he gets. anyways here are the specs on the car:
95 civic vx
Engine/ drive train
JDM K20a Type R purchased from hmotorsonline.com
JDM RSX-R tranny w/ LSD
running JDM K20 ecu
Russel fuel lines, Russel fuel fittings to aeromotive FPR w/ gauge
stock rsx radiator w/ custom brackets to fit EG
Brand new water temp and fan switch from honda dealer
modified univeral short ram w/ filter
DC header to apexi N1
hasport stage 1 axles
Hasport K eg mounts
Hybrid racing conversion harness
Karcepts Shift kit
Suspension/ Wheels
skunk2 coilovers on Kyb AGX's( I think, can confirm tommorrow)
LS Mesh wheels powdercoated black w/ good tread left
2 15" silver Rota Attack w/ Slicks (forgot what brand)
Brakes
GSR Front and Rear Calipers
Slotted and Cross Drilled rotors all around
Don't know what brand pads(never really asked)
Body
Stock teal green paint job(the lighter green color)
black angel eye headlights w/ stock corners
Little rust in the rear quarter panels, typical honda but not horrible for a wisconsin car
the engine bay was very nicely spray painted flat black(Hot ROD black is what the guy at automotive supply called it
Your typical dings and dents of a 11 year car, nothing noticeable unless your right next to it
Only somewhat major dent is when he had it stored last winter at his parents house and something fell and hit one of the front fenders. Just a little dent though
overall still very nice body
Interior/electronics
Stock civic seats
carpet is stripped but I think he still has the rear seats
Dash is still very nice and clean w/ ex cluster
no a/c and p/s, don't think he has any of that still lying around either
pioneer CD player
don't remember what brand but a very nice alarm that automatically turns on after you close the doors.
He also installed a fuel kill switch so don't even think about all you locals
I'm sure there is more but that's all I can think of at the moment because it's pretty late(early actually). Overall the install is very nice and clean. he has a receipt for everything down to the little last bolt from the hardware store. He has owned the car for about 4-5 years and the swap was done about a 1month and a half ago. Pulls very nice but the speed limiter on the ecu sucks because once you get to about 115mph thats it. He did run 13.2 down at GLD about 2-3 weeks ago in the way that it is now. Throw kpro in and you have a 12 second car. He really is just testing the waters right now because he's now sure if he should sell or get kpro and IPS K2 Cams. Throw out some offers and I'll let him know. I'll try to have pictures up by this weekend and for all the locals in the fox valley come check it out.

just what i've been looking for. what kind of price range will your buddy be looking for? i would probably pay around $7-8k since there's rust and imperfection in some places.

He never really set a price so I do know where the $12k came from. But to sell for $7-8k is a joke because he spent more than that on the swap. And the rust is very little, barely noticeable unless your up close.
