Default new clutch install I need help

I just installed my Exedy cerametalic clutch and fidanza/clutch masters flywheel.

I need help on this one.

For one thing the Fidanza/clutch masters flywheel did not align with the dowel pin on the crank. Which kinda was a big inconvience since it did not fit on properly.

Clutch masters says to pull out the dowel pin.

Then comes this Exedy clutch. I finished installing everything, then when I start the car and back up. There is this pop sound. At this point I can go into gear without depressing the clutch. However, the car is not moving at all. It is like the clutch is depressed all the time, or that the clutch won't grab onto the flywheel. Something has happened and I'm not sure what it is? Can someone give their insight on this?

Also, I tried bleeding the clutch line, made no difference.

I need help or insight ASAP.

The pin didn't align properly in my CM flywheel either.

What type of clutch disc are you using?

pressure plate and clutch disk are both Exedy.
Part of the Exedy ceremetalic clutch kit.

Any idea why it won't grab?
I'm going to have to take the tranny out again tomorrow

If the hydraulic system is fine, then the problem probably lies in the pressure plate.

at first when I tried it out, it felt like it was not coming up as much as the stock one. I just thought that that was characteristics of a Performance clutch. After bleeding the system it felt a bit more solid but still it didn't feel like it was as high as the stock one(doesn't rebound back up as high). I'm not sure what it could be. I'm taking the tranny now as we speak. I'm taking a break right now and checking emails to see if anyone has insight on this

I appreciate you taking your time to give you insight.
