How long should a cylinder hold compressed air

Default How long should a cylinder hold compressed air

If i fill my cylinder with compressed air at TDC at 100psi, then cut the supply off and plug the input, how long should it hold it for.

Cuz my cylinders only hold for 3-6 seconds

The cylinders inherently leak with their gapped ring design. I have not timed this phenomenon. If you are worried, perform a leak-down test.
