so i got a good deal on a brand new shindy datytona damper on ebay.
i installed it tonight and the unit it self feels loose. the actual shock body rocks back and forth a little bit. the steering is still free and i followed the directions but i was wondering if anyone has ever used this brand before.

Uhhh, it's eBay. It could be crap.

Did you try adjusting it to full-stiff? (and yes, it does rock a bit)

Like the damper is moving/shaking in the mounting brackets? Put up that video, that might help. If the whole damper is moving, maybe you got the wrong mounting brackets???

I did not mean it was a "generic, no-name" damper, but that it was someone's junk from eBay. No offense was meant.

My damper on the GSXR could "rotate," or shift a little bit, around the ball that was part of the bolt that connected the damper to the damper-bung hole.

Can you post two pictures of the damper? One of it in its 'normal' position, and one where it is 'abnormal.'
