2001 f4i steering damper install help
so i got a good deal on a brand new shindy datytona damper on ebay.
i installed it tonight and the unit it self feels loose. the actual shock body rocks back and forth a little bit. the steering is still free and i followed the directions but i was wondering if anyone has ever used this brand before.
i will post pics and maybe a small mpeg to show what i mean if my crappy description doent help.

its not that its ebay, the damper is available online every where for much high prices. its not ebay junk.
yeah its rocking side to side a little, so this might be normal?

Like the damper is moving/shaking in the mounting brackets? Put up that video, that might help. If the whole damper is moving, maybe you got the wrong mounting brackets???

I did not mean it was a "generic, no-name" damper, but that it was someone's junk from eBay. No offense was meant.
My damper on the GSXR could "rotate," or shift a little bit, around the ball that was part of the bolt that connected the damper to the damper-bung hole.
Can you post two pictures of the damper? One of it in its 'normal' position, and one where it is 'abnormal.'
