Default shot peened rods

has anyone ever put shot peened rods in there engine..if so what kinda boost can you put on them

what kind of rods being shot peened?
Mine are and i'd not run more then 15psi on them asuming rest of motor could handle it.

I use LS rods.

Is getting them shot-peened really worth the cost? Depending on how much it is, you could just go all out and get race rods.

I got mine shot peened and polished for 100 a set

oh for the OP and anyone else rule of thumb for rods like mine are 350WHP and or 8500 rpm or 15 psi.

From what i understand, strength is increased by 100% on stock rods with it done. Then, by some arp rods and call it a day.
