hey all
so i think i got a good deal. i would like to know what you guys think.
At the local dealer they had an 05 R1 with 1300 miles on it. they had $9000 on the tag. this thing looked brand new. anyways to make a long story short, i went back in there a week later and told the guy i would write him a check for $8200. he had to go check with his supervisor, and jsut like that, the bike was mine

P.S. the best part about it is the dealer took it in on trade for $7900..... that meand they only made $300

no this is my second bike, but is my first liter bike! i am loving every minute of it

 

Did the dealer show you the sales receipt to prove they bought it for $7900? As far as you know, the bike could have been beat to **** and repaired. BUT, it could be that everything is copacetic. Congrats on the purchase, and bring an extra change of underwear the first time you crack that throttle open.

 

yeah the dealer went and got the paper work to see how much he got it for... i first told them i would give them 8k but he went up from there, i guess the guy b4 me just bought a house and wanted a new snowmobile, they said he could not have all three of them so he got ride of the bike!
