How will suspension changes affect stts.
I posted this on the tech forum but they wern't any help, so I thought I'd ask here. I'm concerned with installing bigger anti roll bars since I heard the front one on the SH is smaller than the base model due to atts. Does anyone know if changing the suspension will affect the effect of atts?

The front Antiroll bar in the SH Prelude is purposely different from the Prelude to work better better with the different front suspension setup and ATTS. If you change it, your ATTS will still work, but its effectiveness will change...How?? I dont know; I just thought i would post something since nobody else did.
I appreciate it. At leas I know someone cares. (sobb sobb). Anyway, do you know of any places that deal with suspension tuning on the north east coast?
I'm also surprise to hear that you want to change the sway bars. I think you're likely to get the best handling gains from shocks/springs or a coilover system.
I dont know of any places in the North East Coast since im from Vancouver, Canada, where Preludes are on every block.

I'm not sure yet whether I want new anti-roll bars, I was just wondering how changing them would affect atts performance. If they won't offer me any serious gains, then I'll leave them alone. I was just curious because I'm planning way down the line.
Ya, I would recommend coilovers if you are going to do major suspension mods. Height adjustable and dampening control Coilovers are good because you can set the suspension up the way you like. I think their is a thread on TEIN coilovers on this page.
My friend has Tein HAs on his Lude SH with 17x7 mounted on Toyo T1S, and it seems to work very well.

Did he do any changes to the anti-roll bars - front or back? What about camber, would you need to adjust it every time you alter the ride height?

no change in roll bars, but has front and rear spoon strut bars.
Well, he doesnt adjust the height often because when you do, you may slightly alter the alignment, so the best thing to do is set the height and get it alligned.
