Default South Bend clutch for my Prelude check them out

Well over the years I have been having a lot of problems with clutches. In my 67 Mustang I have been through a few of them a Hays, and a center force. The first hays blew up after 1000 miles and now the center force is slipping after 1 summer of use. In my Accord (turbo) the exedy didnt last long either. So I have heard a few things about this company. South Bend Clutch. My old boss had an all wheel drive talon that he put one of there clutches in and has lasted for 3 or 4 years now and hasnt slipped yet. He used to do a 5 grand launch and it never slipped a bit. So heres the deal.

Call them up tell them what you need. Tell him your car, what you plan to do (turbo, all motor, daily driver and track car what not) and he will make a custom clutch for you with a warrenty. He can build you anything you want. And remember these are not a bunch of clutches that go down a line, this one is made just for you and for just about the same price. Check them out at www. southbendclutch.com or call them at 1-800-988-4345 (I dont like really like there website, I'd rather call them) Tell them you saw this post on honda society and you want a price on building your clutch. You wont be dissapointed

I have added some pictures of the differences in this clutch and an Exedy. The Exedy is very small. He told me the problem with our clutches they dont have much surface area so what he did was took a bigger surface area clutch and milled it down for better clamping power.

Here is the clutch I just purchased for H22 turbo daily driver and take it to the track. For 450 foot pounds of torque to the wheels.

Comes with cluch, throw out bearing, and disc

2 differnt kinds of matierals for better holding power

DUAL SPRINGS!! 1 HUGE OUTSIDE AND 1 HUGE ONE INSIDE!!

Exedy on the right, see how much smaller it is.

Yeah, its for more holding power while still keeping it smooth. My experience in the past with the puck design has not been to my likings. So no chatter while keeping the strength
