something is wrong with my itr tranny and i am trying to open up the case i removed all 16 bolts and it only opens up about an inch or 2 but it seems like it wont open up all the way.. does someone have a picture of a ls gsr si or type r tranny case thats already opened so i can see how it is inside or a web site ....please thanks

you got to remove half inch plug on trannies top end if its housing side down, also two 12mm with springs and bearings behind them that rest against your shift forks, you got to get them out of your way then release c-clip under plug.
