Default Identify these Type R like Wheels (take 2)

THESE ARE ROTAS, BUT NOT ROTA TARMACS, WHAT ARE THEY?

These are Rota wheels, I would like to know what type of Rota they are.

Fill in the blank:
"Hey those are some sweet Rota _____ you've got on there!!!"

In my searching I thought it was the Tarmac too, but you can see the tarmac has these raised sections on the spokes.

Also the Tarmacs are 10 spoke, these mystery Rotas are 11.

Yes, I've emailed Rota and their North American distributers a number of times with the pics.

Incorrect, these are definately Rota's. The EDM ITR wheels are 10spoke, only came in 5lug, and were 16inch.

These are 4 lug, both of these examples are 15inchs and have 11spokes.
And to clinche it, here is the back of the wheel.

maybe the rota stamped on the inside is just some manufacturer marking? i know all the wheels i've ever owned have some odd things stamped in them... could it just be a coincidence?

Oh, these are the rare and elusive Rota MonkeyPuzzle wheels. They only made them for a short while, and they were very expensive.

Actually, have you gotten a response from Rota? I have a contact there that I can ask.

Let me know.

Mike
