Default Check Engine Light On

Hey my check engine light is on due to an error in the ECU. The dealer said that it wil probaly stay on does anyone no a way to bypass the light or make the ECU stop error codes. Its a shot in the dark but hopefully someone can help, thanks.

Go to autozone and get it checked for free. See what the problem really is.

Why would you want to make the ECU stop throwing a code? Why do you think it is giving you that light??? It is telling you something is not operating normally... Just do as rawsx said and,
