The black leather seats in my 97 SH are in decent condition, I had to have some wear on my drivers side bolster fixed by a local shop..but they don't really seem as soft and supple as the seats in some other cars I have been in. Are they real leather or vinyl leather?

 

Wow, i didn't even know 'Ludes came with leather...but if the fabric isn't loose on the seat, and it looks like it was well installed, i'd say that they're either OE or a custom job. Either way, leather in an SH sounds pretty freakin' sweet

 

I have seen leather in ludes from the factory, I dont know if its real leather or not. Either way it looks real nice - black leather in a prelude.

 

the leather is from athe type s prelude in japan can get it specially ordered from factory though

type s leather from japan is RED...Leather was a factory option. It's not real leather though..

 

yah, i had my leather redone with real leather but the two front seats are starting to get some seams. I need to get them redone. As for fake in the first place maybe. it doesnt feel the best. And yes it was a factory option

 

White 2000 Base with black leather from the factory. There are different types/grades of leather and I think they are some form of real leather. Wj

 

and considering your car is almost 10 years old. it would safe to assume this leather wouldn't be as good as it did new.

and its not like honda uses the leather they use in like the acura rl or european cars.

its probably in between american cars and european. eddiebauer leather in fords is the biggest pile of crap.

 

Leather on the 5th gens here (USDM) were strictly dealer option. I was lucky enuf to score one w/ honda logos on the mid-back section that look bitchin. Yes it should b real leather if it was the real dealer option.

i have same ones in my 98 SH the H logo in middle of my seats i think it looks nice never seen it on any other preludes
