KEEP LS-T? Or sell LS-T? That is the question...

Hey guys As funny as it sounds I have been a member for about 1 yr or so and this is my first Post I think, Unless my brother has been on. Iam privledged, Unfortunatly its for this..


I own a 95 dc2 I have had it for about 6 months and bought it bone stock. I had just crashed my 98 GST And was devistated, I needed a nice rebound so got the teg. I quickly started modding after most of the mods I ended up with a really nice integra.











Now I have hit some bumps, I love racing especially drag racing, And I get what I want with my car but I dont know if I should stop spending money on it, And just get a new car. I want and s2000 And I could get it but I will have to deal with payments somthing I Know nothing about, Or an rsx-s Mid-high payments But i wouldnt feel like a major imporvment.. I am hit with the race bug and dont want to stop modding, What will happen if I get a new car? I dont want to be slow But at the same time I would like to be nice.!!!

Just keep the car and keep modding, It already is nice. Why would u wanna buy a new car that you have to pay for every month and still not be able to mod. But if u do choose to get a new car buy one thats fast already. I would just keep it and keep on modding it.

 

Keep it, it seems like a nice car. You are 18 and live with your parents i would suggest to stop spending money on a car. Try to save some of it so you can move out on your own and get your life started away from your parents.

i agree if you live at home you won't want to be making payments for loan/insurance for a more expensive car, just keep the teg and start saving!! trust me you are young still start saving haha

 

If you get a new car you will start modding it and then you will be even more broke. If you have done all this to the Teg there is no way you could drive a stock car and not do stuff to it. It is just what happens...once you mod one car...you will mod them all in one way or another. It is a disease that most on this forum are affected with.

The srt-4 Belongs to my girlfriends cousin. This was before the cams and the tune. You can hear the lifters from my car right before the launch

The srt-4 was put together by luhan motorsports. Its modded everywere but the turbo. its at 22psi with a greddy emanage. He didnt think the race was serious with the mustang until second gear.

Btw I raced the vette 3 times and he put the worse race I got him buy 1 car each other time, But w.e its a cool video in my opinion

I usually dont power shift but I did from 3rd to fourth. Just for Iceing on the cake.

Well anyways. The worst part is that While I had this engine running I built an ls vtec on the side to put in my car, The day fianlly arrives and I put it in and due to my stupidity I end up breaking the rings. 2 of my injectors went bad So I just finished putting back my b18b and got the ls-vtec sitting in my garage, I have to still fix my injectors. But thats my sad story I dont know if I want to sell the engine or what but the compression read 90psi across so the board. So I am in a tight spot. My heart says keep it, But my head and my parents and my girls tell me to sell it.

Turbo dc2= Lots of *** whoopings. And can hold down to a modded srt-4 ot a turbo 240sx which is what surounds me

Btw Whats with the turbo and all motor feud? I have always been a fan of all motor, But for some reason I go boost. love the feeling of know that once in vtec whatever it is that is sticking with you wont. And the roar the engine makes at peak power. But in my opinion You really cant make a all motor fast and daily driven. Unless iam wrong.

 

personally i love vtec and all motor, but i plan on going boost anyways cause of the bigger power gains and turbos are awesome as well. i love both. or better yet...go ls/vtec/turbo

 

I wish I could have both. Well I just spoke with my mom if I cant get 5,500 for my car ill keep it. And I will only sell if I can get the s2000 i WAS LOOKING AT

only 5500?how many miles are on it, how many miles since the turbo?

 

100,100 on the clock and the turbo has been there since 95,000 not long but they hold my younger brother has had his turbo kit as long as I can remember.

I was thinking about 6k but third gear is scratching a little bit.
