Default electric supercharger?

hav u guys heard of the ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGER? sth like a electric blower connected to ur air intake hose and powered by battery. anyone uses that? can u actually feel the more of power? cuz they said this could produce 15-30more hp, as well as improving torque!! it produces the same as 15 shot nitrous and 1.7 more psi. when want to use it, then just press the button, then fly away!! i wanna try but still worry about whether it has the power. so anyone knows it?

There is the cheap one which is like a little fan that sits on the end of your air intake which effectively adds nothing--which I think is the one you are referring to--BUT a few years ago there was a company that was coming out with a REAL electric supercharger that used like 40 volts ( I think it had its own batteries)and added 15-20 psi in like 0.3 second--it was only made to be used in 15 second bursts--which is perfect for drag racing, I forget the name of the company but they also used to make "conventional" supercharger kits for 3000gts/stealths.

I think it was Thomas Knight that did the electric supercharger. If I remember right it was basically a small twin screw with a couple of electric motors on it.
