Default Car pulls? And no im not being cocky . . .

Ok so heres the deal, Im not like trying to be cocky or anything but, I drive a 94 ls auto and i got simple mods like a cold air and headers. So when I drive my ***** like everytime it shifts the car pulls. I've been told that maybe my transmission mounts are fucked. Either my transmission mounts or my motor mounts. Other people tell me that maybe my transmission is going out. And some really dumb dude told me that mybe I have some backpressure going on and thats why my car pulls. Any ideas?

Define 'car pulls'. Do you mean you are getting 'torque steer', where the car wants to turn left or right slightly during hard acceleration? Thats normal.

ok this is what your car is doing.....

your driving and when the transmission shifts theres like half a second where it doesnt go into gear then it does and the car just lunges foward a bit right?

if thats the scenario... you might need a new torque converter or something else might be wrong with the transmission but most likely the torque converter.

the rear mount would do that, replace the rear mount, if the problem remains, your tranny is fucked,

even if your rear motor mount is gone. theres still a 17mm bolt there. and theres usually rubber left around that bolt enough for the mount to do its job.....

trust me its probably gona be the torque mount.

so many people with 3rd gen integras have bad rear motor mounts and they dont even know it.

sure i will help him out..sell your automatic integra and buy a manuel one.
but if thats not helping him then its either his torque converter ot he needs a rebuild on his tranny..its pretty much as simple as that, the rear mount would definately make the car seem like its shifting hard and MAYBE make it feel like its pulling, but not to a major extent. It sounds like there is something mechanically wrong with this car, not a motor/torque mount.

was that good enough for you da 33?
