Default vtec controller

ive heard alot of stuff about vtec controllers and from wat ive heard, they arent so positive?
if any of you out there are running a vtec controller, such as the one from buddy club, i just wanna know how good it works and if its worth it
so just give me any feed back negative of positive

from the futures and all and playing with these gadgets before Apexi is the way to go...not so sure with buddy club cause I havent use that one yet...

what? anyways I have used the apexi (until it was stolen) and i really liked it. It really helped with tuning ALOT.

Theres no problem with them as long as you already have a vtec ecu,,you can play with the vtec point raise it higher to get it louder its fun to play with,,but if you have a stock motor then honda's point is good enough....

The problem is when people use the vtec controller without a vtec ecu,,thinking that's actually vtec..

theft target, cost as much or more then a crome setup. Don't help near stock cars.

Still need tuning by a pro.

If VTEC "hits hard," then you're experiencing some major losses in the torque curve prior to the VTEC engagement point.

My sentiments exactly. Why bother spending money and dyno time with a limited hack like a VAFC, when instead you can tune properly and have better results with TurboEdit or Crome?
