Default DAMN car won't START....Help

I have a 06 Civic and my friend left the lights on all night so the battery is dead. I try jump starting it, but all the car does is make the starting sound and it goes dead. Try for 2 hours and brought the batter to kragen for a recharge. Reinstall it in to the car and still doesn't work. The rest of the electrical system like the lights, but the car won't start. I brought it to the dealer and they told me that the fuel system needs to be flush and it'll cost me bout 800. Is there anothe way to fix it?

pop the clutch...

drive around in high rev.. and your battery should be charged up in around 10 min

i dont get it, car is at the dealer they are telling you how to fix it and your asking HT?

typeek: the car still wont start because currently the car is a crank no start, so poping the clutch wont help. and you wont have to rev high the alternators regularor will do the work

sounds like the dealer is being stupid, you should have told them it went dead NOT because of the lights being on, and it would have been warranty work.... try another dealer.

I'm guessing you DONT need a reflush or anything of that nature.

If i recall WAY back when the 06 forum started, some guy mentioned that the newer civics had something that had to be reset in them if the battery died.
( same thing you did , he did )

i thought it was bogus, but now this is 2 people.

he called honda to complain since it left him stranded & they fixed it.

But i'd inquire on that route.

btw.. you have a full bumper to bumper warranty, no way you should be paying for ANYTHING other then a new battery since you left your lights on
