does anyone have any tips on canging the cv axles on a 4th gen accord... mine are broke and i have the hubs off to change the beaings and figured i mine a well do the axles only thing is im not quite sure how to remove the axles from the transmission and how to put them back in on the transmisson side correctly... if anyone has any tips please help a fellow importer out thanks

 

Straight Forward procedure. Get a BIG breaker bar for the axle nut.

Do NOT PULL the axles out, PRY them out with a pry bar or large flat head screwdriver from the transmission/intermediate shaft end.

i already have the hubs off... just the cv axles chillin out now... axle nut was easy just used an impact gun..

 

the axles just pop out, use a large screwdriver and pry between the axle and tranny/intermediate shaft.
