GETTING FINANCING IN CALIFORNIA???HELP!?!
Anybody know a Lender that will Finance a motorcycle and make it an easy pre qualification process...
Experian - 668
Equifax - 655
TransUnion - 552
1. I have a paid off civic worth about $5000 as collateral
2. I have been employed for a full year making $2400 a month
3. I only have 2 open trade lines that have been open less then 6 months
4. I pay $1000 for rent
5. I have a clean driving record from 17-21 years old
I'm looking for a $5000 motorcycle loan. Any suggestions???

that AND the rent. but if you must insist. what i did was i got a cash advance from my cc co. and then immediately balance transferred that to another cc that had 0% interest, 0% fees for 1 year to pay off my bike. i'm making ~$2000 payments per month for my bike so it should be paid off soon. it's funny because after my first payment, the CC co immediately upped my credit limit 2k. anyways, what the customer service rep told me i could've done with my cc that had 0% balance transfer/0% interest was to get a cash advance for free. the way i went, they charged me 3% on the total amt i got a cash advance for.
good luck.

Thats all the income i can verify because they take the salary and not the commission, i make between 5K-10K each month onto of my salary, but i need to start building my credit...
I'm going to try out Western Credit Union tomorrow. Also i will look into the cash advance cc's. Thanks!

for those interested...
- '01 red R6
- clean title, reg'd until '07
- 16k miles
- VERY clean fairings except for the right lower which is a little rashed from minor lowside
- 208gp's (one trackday + 150 street miles)
- rejet/dyno tuned at 107hp
- 520 conversion (now -1, +2; 4 spare vortex rear sprockets: -2,-1,+1,+3)
- two bros slip-on (have stock pipe also)
- 1/4 turn throttle w/ new grips
- brand new Galfer pads
- steel braided brake lines
- double bubble
Optional part:
- yoyodyne slipper clutch w/ barnett clutch: $400 ($1000 new; its on the bike right now and prefer not to take it off - stock clutch and plates included). Killer mod for those who do trackdays
- $4000 or $4400 w/ slipper clutch
A little background of the bike:
I'm the third owner. Last owner rode it on the street for a few thousand miles and converted it to a race bike for one season. I would say 13k miles were street miles. I converted it back to street to make it my street/trackday bike and as most of you know, I only had this bike for about 4-5 months. Bike was lowsided twice (once on street and once on track) and both were very minor drops. Everything is still straight and the bike runs great. I'll try to get pics for those who are interested within the next few days.

If you made $5-$10k a month on top of your base salary, you wouldn't need to finance a bike at all...

5K-10K isnt a lot of money, everybody in CA makes about that much these days and its still hard to get by sometimes...trust me, so financing a bike would be easier for me.

I work in Irvine, CA. I'm a Loan Officer (but cant do loans under 100K with my company) Do you have any expierence in the mortgages?
off topic... its funny, i help people bring their credit score from the low 400's back up to 650+ to get them better rates and terms but i cant seem to find myself a loan. I'm not lacking the score, but lacking open trade lines.

You have no control over a credit score in the short term... other than applying/qualifing for credit and NOT using it, or paying down existing debts to lower your debt to income ratio... in which most cases you wouldn't need to borrow in the first place (Except large purchases)

NOT LACKING THE SCORE LOL your suppose to be a loan officer man! your scores and do not take this the wrong way ok? but your score is pathetic you should know that anything under what say between 700/720 ish is B/S credit and you should also know and do not quote me what is it 7 something and over they do not look at your income because you have strong credit and are of low risk
bottom line before you do anything more i would work on getting your credit to at least 750ish before even looking at houses HELL if it was me i would not even think about it until i was just over 800 but that’s because i am a tight *** and do not wanna pay higher interest rates!

A motorcycle is considered a luxury item, so getting financing on one is a difficult task if you have crappy credit and dont have a lot of money.
Youre better off just savin your money and paying cash for one.

don't ever finance through hsbc...they're some shady *****! always had a problem with them and im glad that i paid off my bike.
op you could try eloan.com and see what % interest they give you with your credit history.
