NRG engine dampener question

NRG engine dampener question
okie dokie. this past weekend i installed an NRG engine dampener onto the ole f22b1. as you can see...
it was easy to install, and i like it, other than this. now, my power steering whines when i turn the wheel(it is bolted onto the PS bracket). any of you know if this might be a major problem? would it just be from the new strain? i'm getting it inspected next week, so, not that much of an issue, but i'd rather do it myself, if i can. all help is accpreciated. thanks.
