For anyone who wants to actually no how many miles u have on your car, instaed of changing out the cluster for ITR, just change the bulbs. There size 194 and theres three of them. i have this and it matches the rest of my itr amber interior parts. Granted you wont have the 8400 redline but still looks phat.
BTW this is for people who already dont know this.....

I switched 'em out with blue lights on my gauges. It looks real sweet. I get more compliments on my gauges from non-car people than on any of my other mods.
which blue lights? like hyperwhites? or blue bluie....are they bright enuf? can u see well? what color do the needles seem to be when u turn on ur lights?
J Gordon.... so I get size 194 blue bulbs, only 3 of em, and then my guages will light up blue at night? Explain how to install, in case I am dumb.. HAHA thank you
If you know how to take out the gauge cluster, then it's very easy.

The above site shows you how to take off the gauge cluster. It's only a few screws so it shouldn't be hard.
And the color of the bulb determines what the color of the gauges will look like. I put in red 194's and everything lights up red, even the needles. Only downside to the red bulbs is that it's a little hard to tell where the redline is--but thats' no biggy, you should know your redline anyways.

Yeah, just get blue 194 bulbs. THe local Checker and Autozone have them here. They're not hyperwhites or any special brand, I don't have the packages anymore so I don't remember what brand they are. The ones from Checker are a little lighter blue, but they are brighter than the ones from Autozone, which I like. But the the bulbs from Autozone are a darker blue and look a little cooler.
To install: There are three screws on the top underside of the black instrument cluster surround, remove these and pull out the plastic surround. Then, I think there are are 3 screws holding in the actual gauges, remove these as well and pull out the cluster. You might have to disconnect some electrical connectors from the back of the panel to pull it out. The gauge lights are held in place by three pull out tabs. Give these like a quarter turn and they should pop right out. Make sure to plug any connectors back in before you screw everything back in.
I definitely recommend this. The coolest $4 mod you can do.

Oh, the needles light up as a dark red, maybe with a little blue mixed in. They're still real easy to see, as is the redline. I almost went with the red bulbs, but I wanted there to be a bit more distinction between the redline. I redline it enough that I didn't want to take any chances.

I can remove my cluster so EASILY! But thanks for the site anywayz, I think I will join Team Integra! I can't wait to this, I have been wanting blue on my guages but not after market guage faces. Thanks guys.
I have PIAA Plasma Blue bulbs in my cluster right now and it looks awesome, kinda looks like a VW's gages if you've ever seen them, there kinda pricey but i tried Autozone's blue bulbs and they were just too dark for my tastes and like Integ Grl said very hard to see
I have blue 194's in my cluster right now...
they look a little washed out... kind of a sea blue... not the bold blue VW's have.
I sort of wish I had the dark blue, I may go buy some other colors tonight.
See what looks the best. Also, your needles get darker... and redline is a touch darker... it looks alright I guess, but still, my favorite gauges are '97 Maxima SE... the needly has light spilling around it... it looks dope.

This may sound lame, but my fav guages are on my mom's 2002 VW Beetle Turbo. Sweet blue coloring.. actually the whole interior lights up blue and red, so awesome.
VW's have excellent interior lighting...
I don't know if the '99 Maxima's are the same...
They're white faced gauges... that reverse to black at night.

I just want my gauge cluster to look like the cluster in my gf's GS300.
Damn Lexus has awesome defination and clarity in there clusters. I've got PIAA plasma somethin or other in all my autometer gauges (replaced stock cluster... speed, tach, oil temp, coolant temp, boost, a/f, egt, fuel level, and volt). Looks really nice IMO and makes reading them easier. Gauges serve no purpose if you can't read them at any time of day or night.
