Default Camber Questions....

Alright, my car is lowered. It has KYB AGX's, with Eibach sportlines, I love it! I'll have to get pics soon. Anyway, I am obviuosly gonna get a camber kit. Do you suggest that I get the kit and install it myself and then get it aligned? Or shoudl I get it aligned, get the kit and have someone else install it? What should I do? Lots of ideas would be great!

Cool, so the install is easy? Should I not get it aligned at all until I have the camber kit?

If you want to find out how bad you camber is, you can get it aligned then install your kit then align it aligned again. Some shops offer lifetime alignment so that would be a good cost effective way. But thats only if you want to know you camber before and after. The cheaper way would be just to install it then align it.

Well since you have a 4th gen, the install should be really easy. All you would have to do is take out ur A arms and replace the parts. You would do this for all four corners.

if you want your camber approximatly.i have done several experiements on the prelude..but my numbers are at home..

by the way ..unless you are dropped more than 2"

if you get a camber kit and recorrect camber..you will get huge loss in cornering power..

our cars are awfully bad in camber change at more than 3.0degree of body roll..
so unless you have reaelly stiff springs ( 800lbs+ ) or 2 sway bars + medium stiff springs.. you will suffer from stock positive camber if you set it back to near 0

if i remember correctly ( i'll check back at home ... ) 3degree of roll = +2.0deg of camber
and a drop of 2.25" from stock position is -1.75deg of camber in static form..

then count bushings deformation and tire buldge .. he

so you can easily count that the major benefit from dropping car with stiffer springs and shocks is the camber loss..and if you adjust it back..u'll go back to stock camber changements with faster responsing car..
