think im sellin the lude, anyone have suggestions for my next car?
had the car for nearly 3 years now and i think im done with it. most likely bc the flat today in the morning topped it off...looking for some what luxury this time, sick of riding low and worrying where pot holes are and what not.
my price range is around $20k

was thinkin about m3, but the design of the car is geting really outdated now, pretty boxy if u ask me... BUT the car is still pretty quick for its age. come on people give me some advice
You said you want luxury, but is that all you're looking for? Get a Lexus or something..
I'd get the S4. You can get a newer S4 for the same price as an older M3. They're no slouch when it comes to handling or acceleration either.

was thinkin bout the IS for alittle bit, but its too damn slow and the new IS jus looks way too much better.

was researching for alittle bit on the s4. they say that the 2001, 2002 models r way better than the older versions bc they updated it to make the turbos last longer.
but s4 seems like the best bang for the buck IMO. but i heard if ur turbos blow u will need at least 6k

Yes, the newer ones had less glitches. As far as the turbos go, it's really up to the owner to take good care of them. Turbo timer and regular oil changes do wonders. I know of fellas with chipped S4s that are running higher boost on stock turbos without problems.

IS is fun though. How about the new-ish Acura TL's? Tons of power and sooooooo smooth.

If a a high price, luxury, factory turbo doesnt come with one I'd say look alsewhere...I gave up on factory turbo's after my old IROC RT (yeah, I know, it was a Dodge though) so now I'm a little salty towards them. Annual cylinder heads and turbo's should NOT be part of regular maintenance.

pontiac gto! lol i want one... but i dont want to get rid of my prelude to get it. i guess ill have to wait. some random guy the other day came up to me and offered me 15k in cash for my car... its a 4th gen vtec with bolt ons... i told him no... figured it had to be counterfeit or drug money... lol. then i made sure he didnt follow me home so he couldnt steal it.
Just think with that 20k for yours you have stored up to buy a car. You could make a beast of a prelude. Atleast thats what I would do. but If your going to sell it I would go with the m3
