Those are really nice choices if you've got deep pockets and a sense of insecurity. But it's up to you, if your only worried about looks, put a "tip" on a custom or "cheaper" kit.

You can achieve that by heating steel to a certain temperature.

I am prettty sure that titanium itself is a silvery metallic metal... All that blue is either the company used high heat to make it turn blue, similar to oxidation. Or its anodized blue. So there would be no difference between aluminum and titanium, other then price.

Yes. I think someone did a DIY for it. I can't remember if it was here or on another forum.

heres what i found on google:

As John Wright stated, there are several ways to turn steel blue. If you are just wanting to color the steel or give an effect such as case-hardening, all you need to do is prep the metal as to your satisfaction with polishing with buffing wheels, wire brushing, or crocus cloth. You then apply heat via oxy/acet. with a high oxygen content flame and gently start brushing the metal with the flame and observe as the temperature rises, the metal will start to turn blue. You keep moving the flame once the desired color is reached till the entire piece is the tone of blue you seek.

If you just want the blue look, that can be done by heat treating any steel tip exhaust... titanium is much more expensive, but for good reason... it weighs less and is much more JDm tyTe Y0...
