cooler thermostat and no rad fan??
I was just thinking. I currently have a full size radiator and b/c of the thermostat it never reaches the point for the fan to come on. I figured that when I swap to my halfsize civic radiator I may be able to get away with running a fan.
Any opinions???

did you mean WITHOUT A FAN.
If so the answer is no eventually at some point when the weather is warm if you sit still long enough it will get too hot.

well yeah but even in the winter if you idle long enough it will probably eventually overheat. a radiator cools water by air flowing across it. no air flow no cooling. a fan is only used for idle and for a/c.
